**Main Jobs**

Job is to introduce clients to the scooters, lead a test ride and guide them on 1.5 hour adventures around the estate. Focussing on safety, fun, informing the clients of the area and looking after the equipment.

This is the kind of job that when your guiding is on point; its super enjoyable (and we aim for that) We take out groups who are super fun to work with and react to smiley and exciting guiding You can introduce people to things they have never tried before

Great for improving people skills and working in the ‘outdoor office’

**About us;**

We formed in 2021; running our unique electric scooter tours aimed at families around a beautiful Cotswolds Estate. We are a small crew but looking to grow. We currently have our main base/operation at Charlton Park Estate, Wiltshire and a 6 month ‘pop up’ running at Farleigh Wallop Estate, Hampshire.

**Tour duties as follows**:

- Arrive, kit up scooters and prep equipment
- Meet + greet clients, get them signed in + kitted up with helmets
- Lead a safety briefing and test ride session for all clients to check everyone is comfortable and safe with their scooter driving (+ giving instructions to those who need assistance)
- Guide the group around the route, whilst leading you will need to check all the group stay together, are driving safely, sticking to the route; whilst providing an awesome customer experience; lots of picture stops, talk to the group about the history and stories of the estate and keep a happy + fun atmosphere.. No matter what the weather does
- Take pics + vids of the group throughout the course on the super beautiful Charlton Park Estate
- Send through general reports whilst guiding to manager
- Return the group to base, give a debrief and say goodbye
- Kit down equipment + fill in reports

(Approx 3 hours per tour)

**Other jobs include**:

- Cleaning scooters + other equipment to a certain level after every tour
- Keeping our small base + bathrooms clean + tidy
- Managing paperwork + other systems (e.g. bookings)
- Maintenance of scooter equipment
- Maintenance jobs around base
- Helping to train new staff
- Marketing (often dropping in to establishments to deliver brochures + posters)
- Carry out course checks and maintenance
- Keep up to date with company guidance + training

**What you’ll need**:

- A ‘customer comes first’ attitude with drive and enthusiasm which comes through to people
- We focus on very personal and friendly service. It is often super fun to guide out groups of clients and show them the beautiful area and enjoy the scooters (so long as you keep control of the group and make sure everyone is safe). It is often very interesting to meet lots of different clients and get to know them over the course of a tour.
- Have good communication skills (good talkers + loud voice to make sure the group can hear you) (this job is a great way to pickup these skills and learn)
- Safety conscious, with a professional outlook
- Be a ‘hands on person’
- Able to work under own initiative without supervision
- We’re a small and fun crew; we welcome those who are a little different/wacky
- Enthusiastic team player who is able to follow instructions and send good reports to the manager
- High energy levels with a cheerful disposition, even when under pressure (things can occasionally get stressful; we must keep our clients happy)
- Must enjoy the outdoors Even if it's very rainy, muddy or any other kind of British summer
- Must have own transport to our base at Charlton Park Estate SN16 9RU
- Able to perform all physical duties (with reasonable adjustments where required)
- You’ll need to be over 18 so you are able to supervise all age groups.
- Driving license and first aid qualifications big advantage (very strong applicants may be sponsored through a level 3 first/EFAW aid course)
- Other guiding/teaching/customer experience (keeping customers smiling experience) a big advantage too
- No Scooter driving experience necessary; (all of our current guides had no previous scooter experience); you will train with our other guides to get to grips with all aspects of the operation.
- Experience in other areas; marketing, sales, safety, tour leading, tourism etc all big pluses

**Hours**:

- We are a year round operation; however our busier season is Spring, Summer + early Autumn (especially during Weekends + School holidays)

We run 2 - 4 tours per day when busy (each tour normally requires 3 hrs working time including kit up + kit down).

Part time; +-3 days a week (with at least 1 x weekend day on)

Lots of opportunity for overtime too during busy periods

Work avail from mid May 2024, multiple positions avail

**Pay**

Starts at £12.00 per hour; once we’re confident you can lead groups raises to £14.00 per hour (probably after 1-2 weeks)
