**Atlas Residential Children’s Homes Ltd (ARCH) is looking for a Responsible Individual to join our team.**

**Reporting Line**: Directors

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Residential Registered Manager or a Responsible Individual looking to work with a dynamic organisation in South Yorkshire.

You must be willing to go above and beyond for the children/young people, the staff team and to promote the ethos and vision of ARCH.

**Salary**: £50,000 per annum (pro-rata)

**Hours**: 16 hours per week

**Summary of Key Responsibilities**

1) To be the Ofsted Registered Responsible Individual for our designated Home and future Homes.

2) Act on behalf of ARCH to ensure that the Home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation.

3) To provide effective leadership and management of ARCH’s residential services for children and young people.

4) To work closely with ARCH Directors.

5) To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards, and the policies and procedures of ARCH.

6) Ensure young people in the Children’s Homes are effectively safeguarded.

7) Promote and maintain a healthy and safe environment for all residential staff and children.

8) Ensure the effective understanding and operation of any specific statutory or regulatory duty contained within the role.

9) Advise Directors in respect of operational planning and commissioning, policy matters and service delivery issues and engage with partners in the promotion, communication and delivery of services.

10) A strong background of successful residential children’s home management is essential, preferably with knowledge of Ofsted requirements, working in challenging environments and leading excellence in care.

11) Available to undertake Ofsted inspections as they arise.

**Requirements**:
1) Recent experience working either as a Children’s Home Responsible Individual or as a Children’s Home Registered Manager in a children’s home.

2) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent qualification)

3) Travel to other ARCH homes may be required at times so full UK driving licence required.

5) To hold a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and ideally on the Update Service.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £50,000.00 per year
