**Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for a new opportunity?**

We have a permanent full time Healthcare Assistant vacancy available at a small learning disability care home in Erdington, Birmingham.

**Please note we do not offer sponsorship or can accommodate part time hours, this is full time only**

**Starting date**: 12/02/2024

**Day Shift** 08:00 - 20:00

**Rota pattern**:
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

**Daily Tasks**:
1.Encouraging and promoting independence.
2.Carrying out regular checks on residents and maintaining their safety around the home and in their personal rooms.
3.Provide personal care dependent on client’s needs.
4.Assist at mealtimes, this may be feeding or preparing light snacks.
5.Safely and correctly use manual handling equipment for those residents who require assistance.
6.Complete all relevant paperwork; daily charts, wash charts, meal charts.
7. Most importantly build a bond and become lifelong friends with residents and colleagues.

**Requirements**:
1. Care Experience (Essential)
2. Have been trained and confidently can use manual handling equipment (Essential)
3.Good level of English both verbal and written (Essential)
4.Ability to work under pressure (Essential)
5.Positive work attitude (Essential)
6.Provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK (Essential)
