New Outlook has been providing housing and care services to people with sensory impairment across the West Midlands for over 170 years.

Our properties offer a 24-hour service; providing front-line care and support to vulnerable adults, some of whom have a sensory impairment as well as other physical and learning disabilities, and complex needs.

We are looking to expand our Night Bank Staff register with experienced care workers to work at our properties situated in North Birmingham (Erdington and Sutton Coldfield areas).

The role of Night Bank Staff is to provide cover for permanent staffing during times of absence, holidays or sickness.

You must have previous experience in a care worker role; in assisting with personal care, and the administration of medication as required. Other duties you would be required to do include person-centred planning, maintaining records and documentation, supporting residents at night, domestic tasks, and maintaining the security of the building during the night. You should be flexible, caring, and be willing to undertake training as required.

Our properties have a 7-day rolling rota. Night shift hours are 10pm-8am, covering weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

If successful you will be required to provide an enhanced DBS certificate, together with evidence of your current right to work in the UK.
