Facilities Technician -**The Role**:
To support its growth and recent opening of a new office, Dorset Software requires an additional Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth day to day working of office facilities and I.T.
The role is varied, covering regular maintenance tasks, on-demand operational changes and issue diagnostics, including:
Office Facilities
- Purchasing and acceptance of goods and services such as I.T. equipment and office refreshments
- Setting up meeting rooms
- Greeting visitors to Dorset Software
- Call Handling
- Testing and checking fire safety and first aid equipment
- Organising the kitchen and communal areas and stationary supply
- Carrying out a building inspection’s
I.T Maintenance
Following procedures and fault diagnostic guides, tasks will include:

- Administering user accounts
- Maintaining and troubleshooting user desktop IT
- Maintaining server and network infrastructure
- Technical cleaning & maintenance of laser printers and server room
**Facilities Technician - Skills and attributes to include**:

- Proven experience of working in an efficient and well-organised office or IT maintenance role
- Basic experience of a wide variety of I.T. systems and terminology
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Enthusiasm to work in a growing and changing company
- Full UK driving license and car
