We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Reed Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our college site in Poole.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the college site, including the classroom building and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that all tools and materials are available and organized for the site area.
- Participate in the dismantling of small walls and structures that have been put up each day.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the construction industry, with a focus on brickwork or related trades.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as this role requires manual labor.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive a flatbed truck between sites.
