Accounts Administrator

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading vacuum excavation company based in Newton Le Willows for a motivated and experienced Accounts Administrator to join their growing team.
**About the Role**
In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts department. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Creating and issuing accurate sales invoices
- Reconciling bank statements
- Maintaining accurate financial records (including PAYE)
- Completing other administrative tasks as required by the department
**About You**
- Experience working in accounts administration, ideally within the plant hire, utilities or transport sectors (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Confidence in using accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks)
- Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
