The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse job is £37,631 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus.

**Duties**:
- Work alongside the ward manager to ensure compliance with audit requirements and lead implementation of recommendations
- Ensure compliance with legislative and professional standards
- Act as clinical supervisor and ensures that all staff participate in clinical supervision/act as mentor/preceptor and ensure the development of student nurses and other team members
- Monitor, evaluate, and ensure effective use of resources within set budgets
- Operate effectively as a team member
- Promote effective decision making
- Assess staff nurses within the competency development programme
**Requirements of the Charge Nurse**:
- Relevant qualification/active NMC Registration
- Recent UK nursing experience
- An enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse who is committed to helping people become the best they can by achieving their goals/enjoy a challenge/inspired by progressive nursing practice
- Sound clinical awareness and a drive to influence and implement positive and lasting change
