Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Catheter Suite team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing world-class care to patients undergoing a range of cardiac and neurointerventional procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a skilled practitioner and clinical leader, providing support to the senior nursing team and coordinating the labs on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, adhering to IRMER and radiation protection safety guidelines.
  • Participate in the Cath Lab on-call rota for Primary PCI and stroke thrombectomy, providing emergency care to patients.
  • Liaise with nursing staff in other departments to coordinate patient care within the Catheter Suite.
  • Ensure accurate and concise nursing records are maintained, and that sufficient equipment levels are maintained within the department.
