**The Role**

**Sales Team Leader**

The Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of Customer Sales Agents and creating a high performing team who deliver exceptional customer service and ensure we provide our customers with great outcomes. The role will report into our Customer Sales Manager who is looking for a Team Leader who is customer and people focused.

**We are looking for** **someone who has:

- **
- Team Leader or Management experience of a fast paced telesales team
- Telesales experience within the regulated Finance industry, Motor Finance being a huge advantage
- Great customer service skills and can provide the best possible experience
- Managing all aspects of people development/performance management within the team
- Composing, conducting and delivering effective 1-2-1s, Personal Improvement Plans and Personal Development Plans as well as experience in conducting disciplinaries, grievances etc
- A target driven mindset, with a commitment to manage the team to reach their personal and team KPI's
- Knowledge of the car buying sector is an advantage and understanding of the general car buying journey
- Ability to talk clearly, negotiate wisely and the ability to stay cool under pressure
- The confidence to manage suppliers and partners, but also have the confidence to challenge them when they feel they are not treating our business or customers fairly
- Overall we are looking for someone who is aligned with our Oodle Values; Strive for Awesome, Embrace Being Human, Bravely Honest, Everyone's a Builder and Think Customer

We are open to customers 9am to 7pm Monday - Friday and weekends till 6pm so teams need to be prepared to cover those hours (not all in one go, however, we do value work life balance).

This role works shifts and may look like this; a week of 9am-5.30pm shifts, then a week of 10am-6.30pm and then 10.30am-7pm, with one weekend in 4 working 10am-6pm Saturday. (time off in lieu for weekend work). When you are all trained up we offer hybrid working 3 in the office and 2 at home. Our office is situated at City Tower, Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester.
