Neway is looking for a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker to join our client based with Camden Council.

This role is starting asap, working 36 hours a week in an ongoing contract.

Pay Rate is £20.96 p/h PAYE (equivalent to £26.17 umbrella)

**As a Housing Needs Reviews Officer, you will be working with colleagues in the housing needs reviews team to ensure overall team targets are achieved.**

**The role**

Ø To assist the housing needs group to improve its services by investigating and responding to enquiries from Members/MP’s and formal complaints.

Ø To carry out statutory reviews of decisions under the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 (both Part VI and Part VII reviews).

Ø To have direct communication with customers and their elected or other representatives, including lawyers and advocates. Also, close liaison with officers and managers within the housing needs group, to ensure and promote good understanding of the group’s work and services.

**About you**

They will possess the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a wide range of customers, colleagues and will be able to respond to enquiries from MP’s and Councillors about housing related issues.

They will have experience of providing or ensuring high standards of customer service and of demonstrating high standards of casework and in coming to careful and fair conclusions to a case.

They will have experience of meeting varying deadlines.

They will also have experience of adapting to different IT systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £20.96-£26.67 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
