**Customer Service Advisor - Financial**

**Location: Newcastle - Role is office based**

**Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm and Saturday, 9am - 5pm. Closed on Bank Holidays.**

**Salary: £11.60 per hour**

37.5 hours per week

**Role Details**

**This role will involved**
- Handle inbound telephone calls in a friendly, personal and decisive manner.
- Support customers and intermediaries through the Society’s saving products switch(online and phone based).
- Understanding customer needs quickly and efficiently, answering queries.
- Support customers in the opening of new savings accounts through any of the Society’s channels including providing online support.

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working in a customer service environment or good understanding of customer facing services.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (Inc. Maths & English level 4-9) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of UK Savings / Mortgage business is essential.

**Next steps**
- Answer incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with their inquiries or concerns
- Conduct data entry to accurately record customer information and interactions
- Communicate effectively with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Utilize phone etiquette to ensure positive customer experiences
- Upsell products or services to maximize sales opportunities

**Experience**:

- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
- Bilingual skills are required to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking customers
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls

Your ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish will be essential in assisting our diverse customer base. With your strong phone etiquette and analytical skills, you will ensure that each customer receives personalized assistance and recommendations.
