Robert Half are working with a well established professional services organisation who are based in the Centre of Bristol. They are looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their organisation for a minimum of 9 Months. The role is covering a periodof Maternity Leave.
**Working Pattern: Hybrid 1-2 days in the office per week**
**Immediate start.**
**Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk**
**Salary: £22,000 - £24,000**
**Duration: 9 Months Minimum**
**Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for**:
- Processing of all purchase invoices within the companies bespoke software package.
- Query resolution and PO matching.
- Processing expense claims, checking to receipts, ensuring correct VAT treatment and coding.
- Daily cheque requests/BACS payments
- Liaising with management for authorisation of purchase orders.
- Posting of direct debit payments
- Supplier Statement reconciliations.
- Monthly payment run for suppliers and expenses and setting up through BACS software
- Monthly Property payment run
**To be considered**:
- If you have experience of purchase ledger / accounts payable that would be advantageous but not essential
- Confident user of the MS Office range
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
