Public Health Practitioner Grade 8

Our client is looking for a public health practitioner to join their team on a temp basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the public mental health agenda across the life course. The role will also provide additional capacity for the healthy weight agenda, working with other colleagues.
This additional capacity is needed due to a maternity leave.
The successful applicant will be provided with a laptop to undertake the role, and a phone if required.
Requirements: A relevant degree, supplemented by public health, health improvement or public health commissioning improvement knowledge, acquired through training, courses and or experience and continuing professional development.
37 hours per week
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months
**Salary**: £19.31 per hour

- Sunderland, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- public health: 1 year (preferred)
