At RUH Bath, we are committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Our maintenance team plays a crucial role in maintaining the Trusts Building Management System (BMS) and other associated control systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

- Operate, maintain, and develop the Trusts Building Management System (BMS) and control systems to ensure a safe and suitable environment for staff, patients, and visitors while optimizing energy usage.
- Serve as an Authorised Person, overseeing various disciplines such as issuing permits to work and participating in independent audits.
- Implement and manage the 'Estates Operational Strategy', aligning with the Estates Vision and Objectives.
- Lead the BMS strategy, including developing standard specifications for new installations and a maintenance plan for historical BMS systems.
- Support the Senior Estates Officers in managing budgets, implementing the Estates Quality Management System, and contributing to the Estates Sustainability Strategy and Targets.
- Training and development of apprentices in BMS operation and maintenance, as well as training trades staff in BMS functions.
- Source and maintain stock levels of actuators, sensors, gland kits, and other control components on site.
