Based within the Beautiful Hesslewood Office Park, HICA are on the search for a Payroll Senior to join the team. Working under the Payroll Team Leader you will provide support to the company payroll’s and its related functions.

**Salary: Up to £27,000**

**Hours: 37 hours per week with flexible working**

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Data Input/Upload to the computerised payroll system. Start to finish process.
- Calculating statutory and sickness payments (SSP / SMP / SPP)
- Processing tax documents (P45, Starter Checklists, P60)
- Calculating attachment of earnings orders
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment / salary exchange
- Telephone support to staff and 3rd party agencies
- Work to tight deadlines and work on own initiative
- Competent Excel and communication skills
- Knowledge of RTI - Year end procedures (P60)
- Support the Payroll Administrators with more complex queries
- Calculate and be pro-active in the recovery of overpayments

**Skills/Experience**:

- Payroll experience essential
- Ability to build relationships with key colleagues in the business
- A strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational skills
- An ability to work flexibly and be proactive
- Highly computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Opera software is desirable
