We are currently hiring a Room Leader for a sought-after Montessori school situated in Peckham, London.

**Job Position**:Early Years - Room Leader

**Location: Peckham, London**

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

**Schedule**: Flexitime, Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Provide a safe environment for children to learn
- Promote positive behavior from children
- Catering to all children's learning needs
- Prepare and provide learning activities for children
- Classroom management including health and safety
- Monitor and provide report progress for all children and identify any issues
- To establish and maintain a good relationship with colleagues, parents and carers
- Communicate with parents, carers, with regards to children's progress
- Uphold the nursery and local authority's code of conduct

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare/Early Years, CACHE Level 3
- Knowledge of EYTS and safeguarding policies
- Will consider qualifications from other countries
- Ability to work with children, parents, and carers
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and a good sense of humor
- Good organisational and time management skills
