To deliver support and domestic abuse awareness to women and their children who have been referred into social care and are on child protection plan. Work alongside social workers within the child protection team to support women and their children where domestic abuse is a presenting or historical factor. Provide individual and family support plans to ensure that they have opportunities to work through their experiences of living with and leaving domestic abuse. Assess individual’s needs and where applicable, ensure that families have access to services in the community. This may include promoting children’s health and development, educational attendance, attainment or supporting the family to participate in social and leisure opportunities. Support women in their understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on their children to strengthen the parent/child relationship.

Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in **Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe.**

We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.
