About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Support Worker to join our Targeted Family Support Team 3. As a key member of our team, you will provide integrated children's services within a multi-agency locality team, working within legislative and statutory planning frameworks, government guidance, and strategic aims.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support vulnerable children, young people, and families to improve their social, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Engage with children, young people, and families using a holistic approach, including them in planning, decision-making, and goal-setting.
  • Deliver and co-facilitate evidence-based programs and group work in partnership with internal and external colleagues.
  • Maintain case files, record work, and write reports and correspondence as appropriate.

About You

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability to work within an integrated framework, providing direct and therapeutic interventions, including work with those who may be resistant to change. The ideal candidate will have the ability to seek advice and guidance when needed, responding promptly to incidents that may have safeguarding implications.
