**Primary purpose of position**

To effectively manage the end-to-end Procurement requirements of a well-established fast paced organisation. Be able to source, negotiate and procure materials and services to meet the business requirements.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Enhance the organisations Procurement and Service levels to meet and exceed the day-to-day requirements of the business.
- Internal and external stakeholder and supplier management.
- Ensure up to date information is communicated accurately and on time.
- End to end Purchase order and contract management.
- Negotiate Effectively at all levels.
- Supplier performance reporting.
- Team player who communicates and interacts with all team members.
- Assist the Finance Department with invoice discrepancies.

**Person specification**
- Ideally be CIPS qualified or working towards, but not essential.
- Be a team player and able to work on their own initiative.
- Have a good working knowledge of a direct and indirect procurement.
- Be able to make decisions and be proactive.
- Whilst training will be given, experience in Microsoft Office packages and Procurement based software systems are desirable.
