- Keeping up to date knowledge of our vast range of product lines, to include tree surgery & forestry equipment, chainsaw protective products, corporate clothing and work wear.
- Picking and packing of orders quickly and accurately first time
- Checking & Booking in of stock purchase orders & service items
- Booking in clients hi-tech equipment for repair and calibration & recording on the database
- Querying any delivery shortages, damages or errors with suppliers
- Arranging collections and shipments worldwide with our preferred couriers
- Taking responsibility for the smooth day to day running of the warehouse
- Data Entry including booking in goods and raising GRN’s
- All aspects of stock management including liaising with the sales team on shortages
- Ensuring the warehouse complies with Health & Safety regulations and meets ISO:9001 requirements, our governed quality standard
- Application of garment branding when required, heat seal printing onto hi vis and embroidery onto other clothing -full training will be given
- Keeping the showroom fully stocked and up to date with popular products
- Organising the warehouse locations and bins and good housekeeping
- Assist with annual and periodic stock takes

**Key skills required include**:

- Have a meticulously high attention to detail for keeping the warehouse organised & tidy.
- Strong IT skills to include all aspects of Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
- Previous experience working or managing a warehouse environment essential
- An interest in PPE, tree surgery or forestry equipment is of benefit
- Forklift license, First Aid and Manual handling qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Willingness to learn and receive product training to help you with your role and continued personal development
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Alongside the above, you may be required to attend exhibitions over the year which could involve very occasional nights away. We are a small, yet, fast paced company therefore you are expected to work as part of a team and manage a busy workload effectively.

Working hours are 8.30am-5.30pm, Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on a Friday, with occasional overtime on a Saturday morning when cover is needed (approx 1 in 6) from 9am-12noon. Due to lack of public transport access own transport advised.

Holiday Allowance is 20 days per annum plus bank holidays. (Holiday year is Jan-Dec).
