Perinatal Mental Health Family Group Conference Lead

To manage the day to day delivery of the FGC service across EPUT Perinatal service Take on FGC coordinator role (Perinatal Mental Health) in adult Mental Health for the highly complex cases within the service. To ensure high quality delivery of the FGC process across EPUT Perinatal service. Managing the EPUT budget for this FGC team. You will have responsibility for the day to day supervision and management of staff within the team.
This will include the management of these staff in line with agreed Trust HR processes. Work within the FGC framework to improve and maintain the quality of life for those with enduring and severe mental illness in recovery planning, decision making and Adult and child safeguarding concerns. Ensure Performance and Activity targets are met as required for both Health Commissioners, and EPUT, as required. Monitor risk management within the team, environment, staff, service delivery Adhere to the requirement of the Trusts safeguarding policy proactively working with the safeguarding team and ensuring any safeguarding conferences follow the agreed protocol.
Carry out good quality and consultations with service users identified networks. To appropriately support the integration of carers and service users in their conferences Ensure the development of FGC service provision and training Provide a high quality professional service for FGCs in adult Mental Health. Maintain an up to date record of activity on case files in accordance with professional accountability and trust record systems, evaluate and adapt these as required to ensure high quality practice Participate in case discussions, case conferences, planning meetings across the trust Being aware of and implement good practice, an anti-oppressive approach, and work in partnership with service users and their families as far as possible, treating all consumers with respect and dignity.
