The Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre within Croydon Health Services NHS Trust are looking for a temporary administrator.
Title: Training Administrator
Pay Rate: £11.96 - £13.26ph
Location: Croydon University Hospital, Woodcroft Wing, Croydon CR7 7YE
Duration: 2 months in the first instance (_This role is temporary; however, you will be recruited to our Staffbank, therefore you will be offered other available roles upon completion_)
Working Pattern: 15 hours pw (work pattern to be agreed)
**Essential: Do you have experience of SBS, ESR/OLM?**
**The Role**
Responsible for all day-to-day administrative and clerical responsibilities and provisions of the Resuscitation, Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Internal & External Course Bookings & Organisation
- To keep accurate records of course bookings on the Resuscitation, Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre database; to update and maintain the database
- To ensure that all requests for courses are processed and relevant learning materials despatched.
- To ensure, where relevant, course materials are sent out within the required time frame in line with Resuscitation Councils guidelines
- To organise office activities and manage all administrative duties
- To carry out the receipting and invoicing of course cheques and depositing them in a timely manner
- To update finance & invoicing details onto central financial database
- To input relevant attendance information onto the trusts HR IT Systems
- To ensure the Head of Resuscitation and Clinical Skills Simulation Centre is aware of any problems which arise during course bookings
- To ensure adequate levels of office materials and materials for national courses are maintained.
- To assist with calendar and timetable management for the department
- To deal with the ordering and dispatching of course certificates and receipts for payment
- To arrange income generating training sessions at external GP surgeries for Basic Life Support classes
- To Liaise with Payroll and Finance regarding payment for faculty on external courses
- To attend any necessary department meetings (such as the resuscitation committee and ad hoc meetings) to take minutes to be typed up officially at the end of the meeting
- To arrange accommodation for any faculty member teaching external courses
- To ensure internal training standards are met and maintained by re-booking all staff that fail to attend training - to arrange new dates for them to attend and to inform their line manager of their non attendance.
- To update the computerised resuscitation training list on a regular basis, listing the dates of all staff and when they were last trained.
- To create and send out course flyers advertising resuscitation and clinical skills simulation courses and course dates. Including internal flyers for mandatory training and external flyers advertising the Resuscitation, Simulation and Clinical Skills Centreto external bodies
