We are looking for a Patient Transport Liaison Officer (PTLO) to join our team. The PTLO position is key to help bridge the gap between hospitals and our operations team on a daily basis.

**This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hrs a week, Monday -Sunday (5 days out of 7).**

**Key responsibilities**
- To maintain positive relationships with hospital wards, outpatient units, discharge lounges and bed managers
- Understand the pressures of the Trusts and the daily activity and pass on findings back to the control teams and manager.
- Work alongside control, plan and dispatch teams to ensure KPIs are achieved.
- Monitor escalation process for your responsible area and liaise with day Control and hospital leads supplying all escalation data on a regular basis with supporting data and actions moving forward
- Report on delays and put actions in place ready to be escalated to the Trust. They will liaise with control over availability, attend bed meetings where applicable and chase up patients ETA’s/to see if there are any transport requirements. You will then act as a point of contact for support and guidance
- Assist crews with complex manual handling tasks
- Attend meetings on an ad-hoc basis
- Familiarisation with E-zec policies, processes, and standard operating procedures
