This post is fixed term until 31 March 2025 due to grant funding.

Are you interested in working with children and their families involved in crime or on the periphery of criminality to prevent escalation? If so, we need to hear from you.

We need a practitioner, ideally with some experience in this arena but who can learn quickly if not, to provide early, targeted interventions to vulnerable children, young people and their families as part of an integrated approach to prevent reoffending. We strive to bring about sustainable behavioural change and divert them from the formal criminal justice system at the earliest opportunity.

You will act as a Lead Practitioner for vulnerable children and their families with a range of needs who may be at risk of exploitation undertaking assessments and coordinating a response to needs and risks in partnership with other agencies. As part of an integrated, multi-agency approach, you will deliver an effective range of targeted evidence-based interventions and specific programmes which will achieve and sustain positive outcomes for children across Hull to prevent reoffending.
