Due to investment into the department an exciting opportunity has arisen for two ambitious Assistant Technical Officers to join the Pharmacy Sterile Production Unit Team based at the Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). You will be joining a team of hardworking and dedicated professionals who formulate, prepare and manufacture medicines for our most vulnerable patients and external customers.

Main duties of the job

In addition to the summary below you should familiarise yourself with the full job description and person specification attached to this advert. You will be required to support our manufacturing teams by assembling and checking starting materials prior to manufacture, sanitise starting materials prior to transfer into cleanroom environments and label and inspect finished products. This interesting and varied role will require you prioritise work effectively, work to tight deadlines to achieve targets and to respond to patient and customer needs. You should be able work under pressure, prioritise and organise workloads and be able to work alone or as part of a bigger team.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
