**Job Title: Responsible Sourcing Lead (Conflict Minerals)**

**Salary range: £60,000 - £70,000 p.a.**

**The role**:
You will coordinate Group level strategy on Conflict Minerals, drive supply chain investigations, respond to customer corrective actions and improve the outgoing Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT). You will manage the release of the CMRT to critical customers in Jan 2024 and beyond to all customers. You will support local purchasing and suppliers with education and training in Conflict Minerals and drive improved response rates from suppliers in the supplier portal. You will work closely with Product Compliance teams across the Group globally to confirm products are free of Conflict Minerals. You will map the conflict mineral regulatory landscape and communicate relevant regulatory requirements and support our key customer responses on Conflict Minerals.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a conflict minerals sourcing strategy aligned with industry best practices and international standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of our supply chain to identify potential risks and gaps related to conflict minerals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a robust due diligence process for conflict minerals.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure their compliance with conflict minerals regulations and responsible sourcing requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams, such as procurement, legal, and sustainability, on conflict minerals-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs and educational materials to raise awareness and promote responsible sourcing practices among employees and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to conflict minerals, and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up to date with emerging regulations, industry standards, and responsible sourcing initiatives related to conflict minerals.

**Your experience**:
Technical STEM degree or relevant experience as well as experience in responsible sourcing, supply chain management or sustainability with a focus on conflict minerals. You will have developed and implemented responsible sourcing strategies, policies, and procedures including risk assessments and due diligence in previous roles and have strong knowledge of conflict minerals regulations, such as the Dodd-Frank Act, and familiarity with EU Conflict Mineral Legislation.

**Your skills**:
You are logical and have strong problem-solving skills to interpret and communicate complex information effectively, and you hold excellent communication and interpersonal skill to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

You are comfortable managing and interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders and managing remote or indirect teams. You have strong project management skills and can prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

You are proficient in using software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and supply chain traceability.
