Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of power and hand tools, as well as experience in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance. Responsibilities: - Perform general grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns - Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees - Build and repair fences, gates, and other outdoor structures - Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other landscaping projects - Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws - Utilize hand tools for various landscaping tasks - Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment - Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure proper functioning - Assist with snow removal during winter months Qualifications: - Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance preferred - Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation - Ability to build and repair outdoor structures using various materials - Proficiency in digging trenches for irrigation systems or other landscaping projects - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues - Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as planting, watering, and pruning - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships or volunteer positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: £11.44-£12.44 per hour
