Job Introduction
We are currently looking for an experienced & highly motivated Land & Utilities Surveyor to come an join our team at Landform Surveys This is a field-based role so you will be covering the area, but your nearest local office is likely to be our Gateshead facility. We are offering a competitive salary of.

Main Responsibilities
The Land Surveyor will take ownership of the surveying process from commencement to completion and must accurately process and edit surveys using LSS and AutoCAD. Customer service is paramount and the Land Surveyor will be responsible for continuously liaising with customers and striving to promote a culture of service excellence.

**_Key Responsibilities_**
- Carrying out a wide range of surveying tasks with mínimal supervision
- Be proficient in topographic surveys, setting out, levelling surveys and be able to assist in monitoring surveys and measured building surveys
- Processing and editing surveys using software packages such as LSS and Autocad
- Take ownership of job from commencement to delivery to client
- Take ownership for resolving queries or completing actions arising from customer enquiries
- Be fully conversant in the use of a wide range of surveying instruments
- Liaise directly with clients to ascertain their specific requirements, to build relationships, to solve enquiries and provide feedback on services
- Contact customers to follow up initial queries where appropriate
- Utilise relevant IT systems to maintain accurate and up to date records, files and survey information
- Maintain high standards of customer care and promote a culture of service excellence
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business
- A sound working knowledge of the procedural and practical issues relating to surveying
- An awareness and interest in the current issues facing the company and services it provides
- Experience in land surveying
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Appreciate and understanding the relationship between customer care, cost, quality and performance
- Proficient in using LSS and Autocad and excel/ word software
- Administration skills - ability to input, extract, interpret and record information from computerised information sources
- Clear written and oral communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and customer care
- Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure
- Support managers in creating a positive and inclusive work culture
- Willing to undertake appropriate training
- Flexible working as determined by the requirements of the company. Weekend working may be required
