Residential Surveyor

Andrew Craig are looking for a Residential Surveyor to join our Survey team, on a full or part time basis.

Andrew Craig Surveyors partners with Allied Surveyors and Valuers Ltd, covering the whole of the North East of England. Our Survey department is based in Gateshead, but this is a remote based role with requirements to travel across the whole of the North East to conduct surveys and valuations.

We are based from 10 branches across the whole of the North East.

Andrew is a fellow of the RICS and the company maintains the highest professional standards by conforming to the strict rules of conduct of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

We are looking to grow our Survey department by adding to our team of qualified Surveyors. The surveyor will need to have a strong background in residential property. As part of our growing business, you'll conduct residential valuation reports for lending purposes and perform private home survey inspections. You must be a member of the RICS, either in an AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS level, and be VRS Registered.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Producing accurate and high quality valuation reports to our lender and private clients
- Strong market knowledge and to keep up to date with market changes
- Observing RICS regulatory requirements and to be aware of any changes, including those in respect of the Red Book
- Understanding the companies policies and procedures including those relating to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety
- Providing high levels of customer service

**You must have**:

- Experience as a practising surveyor
- AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS
- Registered Valuer (VRS Registered)
- Technical expertise in residential surveying
- Use of your own car
- Sound knowledge of drafting technical documents
- Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- A full driving licence and prepared to travel as required
- Experience of managing clients and their expectations
- Good report and letter writing skills

Pay: £45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
