Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear

Salary / Benefits: £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits

Our client, a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, is seeking a qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-standard asbestos surveying and analytical services on various sites, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
  • 4 Stage clearances
  • Smoke, leak, background, reassurance, and personal air testing
  • Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work
  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines

Requirements:

  • Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role
  • Will be an experienced and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst with a background working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy
  • Able to confidently work on Healthcare, Local Authority, Industrial, and Commercial sites
  • Well-versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines
  • Able to use industry-recognised systems to produce detailed reports (TEAMS / TRACKER)
  • Excellent communication skills
