This new role will lead the Internal Communication team at Barchester in the development and implementation of an Internal Communications Strategy that ensures two-way communication with an operational workforce of 18,500 colleagues across over 250 care homes and private hospitals across the UK.

The Head of Internal Communications will also play a key role in the development and delivery of the internal communications plans for the forthcoming digital transformation, alongside key business stakeholders.

Remote working with regular travel across the UK as and when required.

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Experience of leading an Internal Comms function, developing and delivering against BAU and change business priorities
- Experience of building strong relationships and working effectively with key and senior leaders
- Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Change, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience of leading a function, team and budget
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence rather than control as a business or change leader with solid experience in business transformation projects
- Demonstrable experience of operating at a strategic level with managerial responsibility for multi communications channel delivery
- Proven experience of delivering under pressure and to tight deadlines, with the ability to overcome internal and political barriers
- Strongorganisationandprojectmanagement skills,withtheabilitytomanagemultipletasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
