**How you'll make a difference**:
As an Early Help Open to Review Coordinator you will part of the larger 0-25 social care service and working within the 0-18 social care team.

You will be working directly with disabled children and young people, their families, and other networks to help children to have the best possible outcomes via good support and inclusion to enable them to reach their potential.

**What will you be doing?**
- Day to day you will visit children, organise and chair review meetings, prepare and share reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as be able to represent young people or the team/ service at a variety of internal and external meetings relevant to the families allocated to you.
- You will visit children in a range of settings such as home and school, to develop positive relationships and gain an understanding of the child’s lived experiences.
- You will work closely with agencies, providers, and family members to make sure that we have the right level of multi-agency support around a child and family.
- You will be reviewing plans created by social workers within the 0-18 team and making sure that these are producing good outcomes for children and families.
- You will be gathering and sharing information to inform reviews, assessments and plans for children and families open to the team, and ensure that the needs, voice, and views of the child remain central to all we do.

**What we need from you**:

- You will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent or working towards an appropriate qualification related to the provision of services to children and young people.
- You will have experience of working in a statutory setting with children, young people and families.
- You will be confident in communicating both verbal and written.
- You will be able to work in a team and build relationships with a range of people and meet time frames so that children and families get what they need without delays.
- You will have an awareness and experience of risk assessment whilst preparing for and performing a task, and the ability to take appropriate action as a result of risks identified.
- You will have experience/ knowledge of relevant childcare legislation i.e. child protection, regulations and codes of practice; processes and procedures.

Please note that due to the nature of this role it is a requirement of employment that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is obtained for this post.

You will need access to a car to travel to a range of locations including home/ school visits around South Gloucestershire.
