Undertake reviews of clinic templates
- Book all available clinic appointments to ensure maximum utilisation for all clinics within the Clinical Business Unit.
- Ensure all patients are seen within government and local waiting time targets (RTT) and service is managed in accordance with Trust Policies
- Work in close liaison with the departmental Clinic/Outpatient Manager and the Operational Management Team to ensure effective booking service
- To liaise with and co ordinate the attendances of the service.
- To provide a first class service to Clinicians and Service users

To understand the relevant functionalities of the Outpatient Information System including Choose and Book
- To ensure clinic templates reflect agreed activity
- Provide technical advice and system testing when required

To maintain a data base
- To deal with the day to day enquiries
- To maintain a filing system.
- To assist with forward planning.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.

Clinical
- Liaise with business units regarding patient totals and core clinic times, devise layouts for new clinic templates to ensure the smooth running of clinics.
- Restructure live sessions to ensure this is reflective of clinical activity.

Mapping of clinics to Choose and Book to enable the booking of
appointments.
- Addition of specialty procedure codes to new templates to enable clinical

coding
- Mapping of clinics to enable partial booking
- Be aware of data quality when transferring patients between templates with regards to RTT
- Extensions of clinic dates ensuring suspensions and cancellations are carried forward.
- Work with minimum supervision in an organised, effective and efficient

manner.
- Communication
- Liaise with other service users ensuring adequate resources are available to accommodate any changes made.- Communicate effectively, written and verbally at all levels
- Communicate effectively, written and verbally with patients
