At Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group we are looking for a temporary Purchasing Assistant at our Head Office to cover for long term sickness.

You will be working with our well-established Head Office team in Skelmersdale and alongside our long term Purchasing Lead who you will be working closely with. You will be assisting our 6 care homes and home care service with all their purchases and orders from food to medical supplies. Helping our homes make informed choices and problem solving will also be part of your job role.

We are looking for a full time applicant (9-5pm) on a temporary contract and this will be starting at £11.84 (over 23's) per hour.

Skills we require and role includes:

- Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel
- Excellent communications and organisational skills
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered on time
- Following up with suppliers
- Updating the team about any delays or problems with supplies
- Maintaining records of suppliers, pricing and other important data
- Thorough attention to detail
