Yn ogystal â darparu rheolaeth strategol o wasanaethau TG a digidol, byddwch yn datblygu ac yn cyflwyno'r Strategaeth TG a Digidol. Mae’r rôl hon yn pontio targedau strategol a gweithredol cyflawnadwy, byddwch yn sefydlu’r cynllun gweithredu blynyddol, yn ymgysylltu â defnyddwyr yn y broses, yn deall disgwyliadau ac uchelgeisiau defnyddwyr ar gyfer y gwasanaeth ac yn arwain ar bob elfen o ddatblygu gwasanaethau TG.

Byddwch yn arwain y gwaith ar ddysgu peirianyddol, awtomeiddio a Deallusrwydd Artiffisial, yn ymgymryd â chaffael cymorth a gwasanaethau TG a datblygu manylebau a thendrau, yn rheoli contractau, yn datblygu perthnasoedd â chyflenwyr TG i sicrhau perfformiad da ac yn mynd i'r afael yn rymus ag unrhyw berfformiad gwael gan gyflenwyr.

I ymgeisio am y rôl hon, bydd angen hanes profedig arnoch o arwain y brosesu o ddatblygu a chyflawni trawsnewid digidol, data a thechnolegol sy'n gyrru gwell effeithlonrwydd ac effeithiolrwydd. Bydd angen gradd neu gymhwyster cyfatebol arnoch mewn disgyblaeth dechnegol berthnasol. Profiad o oruchwylio ac arwain y gwaith o gyflawni prosiectau a thimau sy'n hanfodol i fusnes gan gynnwys arweinyddiaeth matrics ar draws ffiniau sefydliadol a chyflenwyr. Bydd angen sgiliau pobl cryf arnoch gyda'r gallu i ddeall anghenion defnyddwyr, i dywys pobl gyda chi ar y daith o welliant parhaus ac ysbrydoli'r tîm y byddwch yn ei arwain. Bydd gennych brofiad o arwain gwasanaethau digidol, data neu dechnoleg sy’n perfformio’n dda ac sy’n canolbwyntio ar y cwsmer, a byddwch yn meddwl y tu hwnt i fodelau a dulliau gweithredu safonol a phresennol, i greu ffyrdd newydd a chreadigol o ddarparu gwasanaethau.

**HEAD OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES**

Are you passionate about public services? Are you an IT specialist who is used to balancing a role that straddles both strategic and operational delivery? Are you looking for a role where your impact will be significant and much wider than your day to day brief?

The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales is looking to recruit a Head of IT Services to deliver the strategic development of our IT systems and services and for driving digital transformation to ensure that the IT and digital services support our strategic objectives.

This post is included in our hybrid working arrangements and regular and frequent attendance at the office in Bridgend will be required. This reflects the general requirement for members of management team to attend the office in person on a regular basis.

Besides providing strategic management of IT and digital services you will develop and deliver the IT and Digital Strategy. This role straddles both strategic and operational deliverables, you will set out the annual action plan, engaging users in the process, understand user expectations and ambitions for the service and lead on all elements of IT service development.

You will lead the work on machine learning, automation and Artificial Intelligence, undertake procurement of IT support and services and develop specifications and tenders, managing contracts, developing relationships with IT suppliers to secure good performance and address any poor supplier performance robustly.
