Operations Co Ordinator Charnwood

Serco’s Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Charnwood. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. And right now, we have an opportunity for a like-minded Operations Coordinator to join our team of essential key workers and help us make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.
As part of this role you'll be the first point of contract for the Client, liaising daily regarding resident and property issues and request so you will be based within our onsite office at the depot. Offering support to the supervisors throughout the day through the monitoring of the service and allocation of missed bins and additional work. Assisting the Operations Manager and QSHE with contract compliance, keeping up to date records and systems to ensure the contract remains compliant at all times with legislation and company policy.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will see you maintain and operate vital client communication links, ensuring all work orders are provided and completed in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to firm deadlines. You will update and manage computer databases and spreadsheets, providing reports and statistical information to senior management. This role will also see you completing general administration duties when required including; data entry of weigh bridge tickets and fuel, note taking in meetings and other types of data entry such as wages.

**What do I need to do the role?**
To be considered for a position within our team, you will be an experienced Operations Coordinator or Administrator from a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently and to tight deadlines.
You will be customer focussed with an analytical approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail.
This role will see you using your proficient IT skills within a variety of Microsoft Office packages including excel. Previous experience of working with CRM Whitespace and within the refuse and recycling industry is desireable.
Holding a valid CPC or O license is highly advantageous.
