Reed are proud to be working in partnership with one of the oldest and youth charities in the UK to recruit for a **HR Officer** on a full time permanent basis for their vibrant and friendly team.
**Salary**: £21,733 - £24,333 (DOE)
Location: Romford (parking available onsite plus 15 mins walk from station)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain online admin systems to support HR processes. Including standard letter templates and forms, recruitment and training records, starters & leavers, and other electronic systems e.g. sickness process
- to take part in recruitment interviewing.
- Responsible for the production of offer letters, references, right to work checks, DBS checks, occupational health screening, unconditional letters, contracts and equal opportunities statistics. To record all information on the People HR system.
- Assist in the organisation of recruitment campaigns, open days and events to encourage new recruits.
- .Liaise with the Finance team on all matters relating to employee remuneration and pension.
- Undertake HR project work, as directed by Director of People and HR Business & People Partners
**Personal Specification**
- Previous of working in a HR role
- CIPD Level 3 Qualified
- Experience of using HR software or database system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to undertake basic mathematical calculations accurately e.g. annual leave, pro rata salaries.
- Able to follow HR policies and procedures and works accurately with attention to detail
The successful applicant will be asked to provide two references and be required to complete a safeguarding self-declaration and undertake a standard DBS check.
