**Facilities and Maintenance Co-ordinator**
**(Temp role initially 6 months - 16-20 per hour)**
My manufacturing client in the Eastbourne/Hastings area is looking for a 6 month temp (to ultimately go perm) facilities co-ordinator to work within the FM team to support the effective delivery of soft and hard services across the site.
Day to day role requirements will be (but not exclusive to); works order system admin, call logging and work order management
Determining priority of service /equipment issue, logging onto FM System and releasing work orders to the maintenance team and/or third party contractors and chases and follow ups, plus analysing the on-time fix rate.
The co-ordinator will be Raising works/purchase orders for legislative inspections for all equipment - dealing with re-active maintenance requests and assigning them to external contractors or internal resource as required.
They will also be responsible for escalating potential non-compliances to management when identified and providing regular reports on service delivery to the Facilities Manager.
The Facilities Co-ordinator will be required to obtain competitive quotations for works and services and raise requisitions, follow up purchase orders, check receipt of goods/services and any credits due.
Ensuring that all paperwork is held on SharePoint and all records are compliant.
Other tasks will be the logging of waste transfer notes and any service failures.
The Facilities Co-ordinator will manage access control systems in relation to issue and changes to security badges for the Eastbourne site and monitor contractor services against SLAs
They are also responsible for logging all FM staff training certification/qualificiations into the system and setting expiry date and reminder flags.
- Administration of pool cars ensuring road worthiness through servicing and repairs
- Obtaining and keeping copies of driving licenses of Eastbourne staff
- Upkeep of key site databases (SharePoint):GRA, D&T, DSE, CRW, Waste Disposal and Archive Store
- Weekly inspection of kitchens, toilets and rest areas for cleanliness / repairs
- Car parking management
- Ensuring supply of COSHH labels available, supplying forms, carrying out audits

Essential Skills
- General understanding of Facilities maintenance / soft services (cleaning, catering, etc)
- Significant experience in use of Microsoft Office
- Experience in use of works order or similar software management system
- Data capture and entry / administration of information held within systems
- Ability to grasp / obtain detailed information
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with competing priorities
- Team player - able to develop good relationships to gain understanding of service deliverables
