Friendly community shop seeks help running our small café. Key tasks are to help organise and train volunteers, simple food prep and customer service, ensure a good supply of tasty cakes, manage stock, and ensure our excellent food hygiene standards are upheld. We serve a simple menu of cakes, pasties, pies and sausage rolls, tea and coffee. Lovely location in a rural village, easy parking. Start date mid-June.
**Skills and qualities needed**
Café / food service experience
Familiarity with food hygiene requirements and practices
Interest in working with volunteers in a community run enterprise.
Confident, good communicator, well organised
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: From £10.60 per hour
