Security Co-ordinator

Balfour Beatty VINCI is proud to be designing and building a 90KM stretch of the West Midlands section of HS2. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a **Security Coordinator **within the** Sitewide and Logistics team.**

This role will be based in locations around Kingsbury and Lichfield Northern most section of IPT Area North with 16.3km of rural high-speed line to the east of Lichfield and runs North of Curdworth for approximately 13km, through a mainly rural landscape between Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth finishing at Rookery Wood.

**Role description;**

To support the overall Security function for all HS2 locations in the West Midlands area. This is a varied role which will coordinate and support the overall Project Security Team.

**Experienced required**
- Knowledge and understanding of a construction site and structure.
- Ability to communicate at all levels, in written and oral format.
- IT literate and able to produce management information.
- Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Competency with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Knowledge of Business Collaborator, SharePoint, Horace.
- Working knowledge of pivot tables, creating charts, formulas, editing PDF files.

- 42 viaducts totalling over 11km
- 66 overbridges
- More than 35 cuttings reaching over 30km
- 56 culverts
- 66 embankments reaching over 33km
- Building four motorway crossings requiring box structures
- Six interfaces with the existing rail requiring both dive-under and overbridge structures
