Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Benjamin Henry Ltd. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile surfaces. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Due to our company size your work will be varied and won't solely be laying tile but will be getting involved with other trades, which gives good variety.

**Duties**:

- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine tile layout and patterns
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand tools
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Set tiles in position and align them properly
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and industry standards
- Bathroom fitting
- Helping other trades as needed.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of tile materials, patterns, and installation techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools such as tile cutters, trowels, and levels
- Familiarity with power tools used in tile installation, such as wet saws or grinders
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Basic carpentry skills for preparing surfaces and making necessary adjustments
- Experience with painting or other finishing techniques is a plus
- Plumbing in bathrooms

- Attention to detail and precision in tile placement
- Strong problem-solving skills for handling unexpected challenges during installation
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
