Finance Ledger Clerk - Dumfries £22,000 -£24,000 per annum

**Your new role
**Reporting to the Finance Manager and joining a small and committed finance team, the Ledger Clerk will manage the day to day finance transactions, Purchase and Sales Ledger and processing payment runs.
Typical duties include:

- Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices and credit notes.
- Responsible for raising sales invoices when requested.
- Matching, entering, and coding of invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any discrepancies.
- Process weekly & monthly supplier payment runs.
- Distribute invoices to Managers within the organisation for approval.
- Answering internal and external queries.
- Adhoc accounting duties to support team.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Previous experience within a similar role
- Experience with Excel required.
- Numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Hard-working with a can-do attitude.
- Desire to learn and develop.
