**Manager Operational Finance**
We're seeking a Manager Operational Finance, for one of our customers, a leading provider of mission-critical water and wastewater treatment solutions, offering a broad portfolio of products, services, and expertise to support industrial, municipal and recreationalcustomers who value water.
The role will allow for hybrid working and it requires to be based out of our Warrington office when not at home.
**Summary of role**:
To provide efficient, accurate and timely financial information to the Senior Management Team and their respective departments. Develop and drive improvements in operation finance matters and support business change initiatives.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly actual, quarterly forecast and annual budget process in compliance with US GAAP / our customer's reporting guidelines.
- Provide financial analysis on actual performance and prepare monthly Finance Deck, highlight variances, identify strengths or weaknesses that is performing for management actions / attention
- Co-ordinate with all the business leaders to develop common reporting templates and timetables across the business
- Develop departmental cost variance reports for discussion with responsible managers for upward reporting to senior managers. To facilitate cost control, corrective action and accurate apportionment of cost
- Develop and measure key performance indicators in cooperation with business managers
- Develop and maintain a common costing methodology across the Water Technologies business.
- Provide Financial support for delivery of specific business projects
- Manage and lead a team to deliver factory, business and project financial partnership to maximize commercial opportunity, control costs and drive efficiencies
- Contribute to global initiatives around CRM, Sales incentive data, installed base, channel partner management, T&I, SCM/Procurement and selection/onboarding
- Undertake any other activity which may be required within your role and responsibility.
- Ensure the approved finance related policies and procedures are fully implemented

**Knowledge/Skills required**:

- Relevant financial qualifications and training along with a track record of proven experience in equivalent roles (Essential)
- Strong Customer orientation, Internal & External (Essential)
- Be able to cope with and support change in a constantly changing business environment (Essential)
- Effectively work with peers and partners who are not in the line of command to positively impact business performance (Essential)
- Experience of SAP business systems (Desirable)
- Experience of BI, Planning and Advanced Analytics tools, such as Power BI/Power Platform, Qlik, OneStream, Oracle Essbase, IBM Planning Analytics, Jedox (Desirable)
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and tools -R, Python

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (Essential)
- Highly self-motivated and able to work under time pressure (Essential)
- Strong communication and presentation skills (Essential)
