**About us**

Thomas’s Cycle revolution are experiencing a period of growth and we now need to expand our HR team in our well-established support office. This role is 3 days a week and field based but can include some working from home. The role will involve travel across our 6 sites (ranging from Chelmsford - Norwich).

We are looking for a driven individual with good knowledge of HR practises. You will need to work effectively as a part of the Head office team and to also work independently providing advice, guidance and support on all stages of HR matters, to enable managers and the Director to meet their people management needs and deliver on Company and corporate objectives and contribute to the achievement of the Company’s core values and business strategy.

Some Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

- Report Directly to the Company HR manager and Director
- To provide an on-site HR management to support Mangers within the business, maintaining standards and approaches and ensuring consistency for all staff issues.
- To ensure all HR needs are met with regards to administration including drafting of HR letters, forms and guidelines, recruitment administration, annual leave requests, sickness monitoring and performance records.
- To support and coach managers on best practice employee relations, providing a HR service to the Director, managers and employees with a particular focus on maintaining standards, documentation and managing employee relations issues.
- To Visit all stores regularly offering support and guidance.
- Undertake Health and Safety Risk Assessment reviews, ensuring store returns on fire records through the internal system and maintaining accurate records. Keep record of monthly fire accounts and any reports from suppliers around HS - upload reports to Bright Safe.
- Ensure that our Bright HR system is kept up to date, this includes creating and approving rotas on a monthly basis. It will also require liaison with the in-house payroll team and supporting with monthly payroll.
- Provide both written and verbal HR advice guidance and support on aspects of HR management including, terms and conditions of employment, first stage absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance management and family friendly rights, induction, probation, and continuous performance management, including arranging and participating in performance reviews

Skills Required:

- Qualified CIPD accreditation
- Ability to Prioritise and multi task.
- Experience of working in a HR team or environment
- Good IT skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year
