**About the job?**

Collecting ticket selling equipment from Weston Super Mare at the start of your day, you will then travel to Worle, Nailsea & Backwell or Yatton Station, where roster coverage is required, to provide staff coverage and ticket selling. You will ensure that the customer requirements are met and exceeded, and that ticket office opening times are adhered to. You will provide information and assistance to customers and ensure that the station environment is kept to a high standard. You will end your shift at Weston Super Mare to return equipment and bank takings.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Providing the highest level of customer service and being dedicated to customer needs.
- Meet and greet customers at stations by being friendly, professional and efficient.
- Selling tickets using our mobile ticketing device.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning where required.
- Accurately completing all accountancy and other tasks associated with ticket selling.
- Providing information and assistance to customers.
- Ensuring the safety of customers, staff, visitors and contractors is given the highest priority.
- Maintaining a safe, pleasant, and clean station environment.

**As a minimum you'll need to have**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to multitask well

**About the location?**

Worle, Nailsea & Backwell and Yatton stations are busy commuter stations in the North Somerset area as well as having a growing leisure market. During the busy holiday periods due to its proximity to many popular tourist locations and venues will see large numbers travel from these stations. Due to collecting ticket selling equipment and banking takings, the shift will begin and end at Weston Super Mare station and travelling time will be included in the shift times.

**Additional Information?**

The role requires working as a General Purpose Role covering gaps in the roster at Worle, Yatton and Nailsea and Backwell stations, 7 days a week on a rolling roster pattern which may include Sundays and Bank holidays. Full time and part time hours are available, but this can be discussed at the interview stage.
