**Job Title: Bank Youth Worker - Youth Sports**

**Location**: The Hive Youth Zone, Bright Street, Birkenhead

**Job Type**: Casual, Evening and Half Term Shifts

Our Youth Sports provides exciting opportunities for youth to develop their skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities. We are seeking a dynamic Bank Youth Worker to join our team, contributing to the energy and excitement of our sports programs and providing support during busy times and staff absences.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Sports Activities**: Take the lead in organizing and facilitating various sports activities during our Youth Sports activities. Create a positive and inclusive environment where young athletes can thrive and develop their abilities.
- **Shift Coverage**: Be available to cover shifts during staff sickness, holidays, and school holidays to ensure the continuity of our sports programs. Step in as needed to support the team and maintain the smooth operation of activities.
- **Build Relationships**: Develop positive relationships with young athletes, offering mentorship, guidance, and encouragement. Foster a sense of sportsmanship among participants.
- **Collaborative Atmosphere**: Work collaboratively with the team to uphold the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere of The Hive Youth Zone. Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

**Requirements**:

- **Passion for Youth Sports**: Demonstrate a genuine passion for youth sports and a desire to empower young athletes through positive sporting experiences.
- **Flexibility**: Have the flexibility to work on a casual basis, covering various shifts including evenings, weekends, half terms, staff holidays, and busy periods.
- **Alignment with Mission**: Show enthusiasm for contributing to The Hive's mission of promoting youth development through sports and recreation, prioritizing the well-being and growth of young athletes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Previous Experience**: Previous experience in youth sports coaching or related fields is desired, with knowledge of sports development principles and coaching techniques.
