**Head of Marketing - Food Brands (6 month contract)**

**About the Role**

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic marketing plan for our brands within the Divisional structure, be accountable for all elements of the marketing mix and lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver the Divisional plan. This is a hybrid role, you will be required to work in our Burton on Trent office and in our pubs 2-3 times a week.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the strategic marketing plan, to drive sales and profit in line with our Brand propositions, through innovation and tested activities.
- Deliver the Divisional business plan in conjunction with the Marketing Director, Business Unit Directors and Divisional MD's.
- Collaborate with our colleagues in Digital / CRM and Communications (PR internal and external) to drive customer acquisition, brand awareness and visit frequency etc.
- Support our Marketing Director to lead in commercial forecasting for Division, accountable for delivering required performance.
- Lead the evolution of Brand Offers (Food, Drink, Entertainment, Big Date activity etc) to maximise our customer experiences and sales.
- Manage compelling analysis and reporting suite, tracking marketing activities, delivering insight to drive our customer experience forward.
- Develop relevant communication strategies in conjunction with appointed agencies to deliver a compelling offer that delivers growth and profit targets.
- Monitor agency performance, establishing clear SLA's and holding stakeholders to account. Manage agencies against agreed rate card and benchmark.
- Have an effective working relationship with Brand Lead and be accountable for the delivery of our brand experience.
- Develop a high performing team, supporting personal development, with clear succession plans in place.
- Work collaboratively with other Divisional Head of Marketing and teams to drive Marketing

**About You**
- Strong Brand/Marketing knowledge and experience ideally gained within a B2C environment
- Ability to think strategically about all elements of Marketing
- Engages and effectively leads a high performing team and has a style of operation that delivers excellent results through people.
- Excellent influencing skills coupled with the ability to impact across a variety of stakeholders
- Data rational with an excellent understanding of financial reporting and sales information and measuring the ROI for campaigns and initiatives.
- Highly resilient and works with pace, attention to detail, focus and optimism, to overcome obstacles and deliver against the plan.
- Collaborates effectively across and outside the business with stakeholders to deliver results.
- Demonstrates commitment to the team at all times. Listens to team members, actively contributes and shows commitment to building relationships within the team and also the wider business.
- Creates accurate plans and monitors these highlighting any areas of concern. Prioritises work in a clear and methodical manner.
