A Primary school located in Orrell are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to start in January
**Your new company**
Hays have been approached by a primary school located in Orrell who are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant 5 days a week in January with the potential for this to be extended in February and further. Hays has worked with this school for a number ofyears and has always had good feedback from staff placed there. The school look to provide an education for all and like to enable children to acquire and develop a range of skills and concepts. The school are looking for a hard working and dedicated teachingassistant to come and support their pupils.
**Your new role**
Your new role will be split in half, the first half of the day will include general TA work and will be class based in Year 1. The other half of the day will consist of providing one-to-one support for a non verbal autistic child who is based in Year 2, thischild is working at pre-school level so you should be adaptable and flexible to suit the needs of the children you will be supporting. You will be responsible for providing these pupils with a safe and supportive environment and push them to reach their potential.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be a successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children and ideally previously experience supporting SEN children, even if you have limited experience, we want to hear from you. You should feel confidentworking with children in a 1:1 setting as well as being friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be available to start as soon as possible and continue through until summer.
