Job Description:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support Classroom Activities: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, helping to create a positive learning environment.
  • Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts and aiding their academic progress.
  • Behavior Management: Help maintain a well-ordered classroom, promoting positive behavior and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Administrative Assistance: Support teachers with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and organizing classroom resources.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise students during non-classroom times, such as lunchtimes and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Tailored Support: Work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to provide personalized support that meets their individual requirements.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • An enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist with this if you don't have one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
